Now I am that mom that really dreaded potty training. I don’t know about other moms, but I am a single mom and I am not a “stay inside all day” person. I get way too depressed. So staying home to potty train for even 3 days sounded awful. I brought out the potty when my daughter was 14 months and she loved it. (most of the time) I finally stayed home for 3 days to fully get rid of diapers for good! I got the book Start Potty Training Now and it worked! Here are the potties other moms, including me!

1. Summer Infant My Size Potty

My Size Potty Summer Infant’s My Size Potty features the look and feel of an adult toilet to help ensure your child has a comfortable and confident transition to the real thing. Realistic features include a toilet handle with a flushing sound to encourage your child while potty training. The clip-on splash guard and flip-up lid help boys in the potty training process, and the built in wipe dispenser is perfect for promoting good hygiene. A removable bowl makes clean-up easy. For children 18 months up to 50 pounds.

Our daughter is 20 months old and she loves this potty! It’s very well made and I have had absolutely no issues with pieces coming off as other reviewers have stated. Potty training is going very well and our daughter is going #2 on the potty, now if we can get her to go #1 too! We had first purchased a minnie mouse potty, but our daughter is tall, and it was a bit short for her, not to mention she used it as a stool when brushing her teeth, so it wasn’t really looked at as a potty by her. This potty is much more suited for her and I think she does better with it because it looks like mommy and daddys potty. We re-use grocery store bags to line the inside bowl, easy clean-up.

“This is one of the two potties I currently have for my daughter, she loves it for the obvious reasons. It looks like mommy’s potty and it’s her size!” – Terra

“We like that now that our baby is potty trained, we can keep it in the car for emergency use on long drives. It has come in handy more than once.”
“My son was very resistant to sitting on any potty until he saw that he got to use the “flush” lever on it, which makes the flushing sound. Now he loves to sit on it!”

2. Fisher-Price Learn To Flush

 Fisher-Price Learn-to-Flush Potty

This potty makes the potty training process easy for mom, and fun for kids! When baby flushes the potty, sounds and musical ditties build potty training confidence while exciting lights and fun “twirling water” action reward potty training successes. Handles on the potty ring help toddlers feel secure. There’s a splash guard for boys, and the bowl removes for easy cleaning. As baby grows, remove the potty ring for use on a regular toilet seat, helping to make the transition from potty to toilet easy.

We’ve been struggling to motivate my son to potty train. Another parent recommended this, and I’m so glad she did. The sensor that goes off when it’s used has always worked perfectly. He also loves the flush feature. It’s versatile too, as the seat does come off and can be used with your toilet. When I was looking for an over the seat option they were for the most part around this price anyway.. and with this you get both!
“Love this potty! The lights and sounds are great. My baby loved the cheers when they were successful.”
“My son loves the lights, it’s fun for him to use. Very cute, and easy to clean.”

3. Step By Step Potty

Step-By-Step Potty The Summer Infant Step-By-Step Potty is a 3-stage complete potty training system. The potty starts as a stand-alone, and as your little one grows it transitions to a toilet topper training seat, and then to a step stool. With a built-in lid, a compartment for disposable wipes, and a toilet paper holder, the Step-By-Step Potty helps you teach and reinforce important hygiene habits during every step of the potty training process. For children from 18 months to 5 years.

This is the second potty we have for my daughter she loves it because it is a stool, floor potty, and it goes on the big potty too!
You can’t forget about the awesome wipe holder, and toilet paper holder too. The seat is also very comfortable.

Great potty. My son loves the cushion seat. And what fun to have your own toilet paper and a slot for wipes. We ordered a second one of these for my sons school since he wouldn’t go on the hard plastic seats we got him. He also likes the lid and that you can use it as a step stool. Helped with the joys of potty training a reluctant toddler.

There are so many different potties to choose from, I made the mistake of buying literally 6 potties when my daughter was 18 month to about 3 years old. After reading the reviews from other moms its awesome to know that I currently own 2 of the 3 listed above and my daughter loves them! I do reccomend the potty trainging ebook here because my daughter really is the most stubborn child I have ever met and I followed the book and she was potty trained in 3 days!!!!
